ON THE ORDER OF ENTRANCE OF FOREIGN CITIZENS IN AZERBAIJAN
There are a number of countries whose citizens are entitled to visa-free entry with a passport into the territory of Azerbaijan for up to 90 days. This list includes the following countries:
Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Tajikistan.
GETTING A VISA ON ARRIVAL AT THE AIRPORT
Some nationalities can get their visa upon arrival at the airports in Azerbaijan. This visa to Azerbaijan will allow them to stay in the country for up to 30 days. This list includes the
following countries: Bahrain, Israel, Malaysia, Oman, Japan, China, Qatar, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Turkey, Kuwait, UAE (citizens and residents), Indonesia and Iran.
To simplify the issuance of visas to foreign citizens and stateless persons, an electronic visa system has been created in Azerbaijan since 2015. Foreign citizens from 94 countries coming to
Azerbaijan for a period of less than 30 days can use an electronic visa. An e-visa replaces a standard visa pasted into your passport. The entire process is carried out by e-mail. E-visa is valid only for short
trips to Azerbaijan.
How it works?
E-Visa is considered by the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan through the electronic system. E-Visa is an A4 document with your photo, your passport data and information about the terms of the
visa, and a bar code. List of documents to be sent to
- Scanned copy of passport (color, good quality) in JPEG format
- Hotel reservation made by GREENWICH Travel Club
- Residential address and telephone number
The deadline for considering applications and obtaining an E-visa is from 1 to 3 working days.
